AN INTRODUCTION AND A WELCOME

 Hey! Welcome to the Afro Files! 

I love being Black. The culture, our uncovered history, our music, our fashion, our pop culture, and everything under the sun. I am unapologetically Black and proud! This blog is gonna be just about my experience with the culture. I love us and I think everyone should get a chance to hear about us. I plan to write about everything Black. Our music, our successes, our faults, and even our (although few and far between) faults.

I'm a 15 year old girl and I live on the west coast. I absolutely ADORE learning about all of the history that's stored on the west coast alone. I wanted to start this blog to just share some of the history that I can access easily with just a few clicks on my keyboard.

OUR FASHION– Dandyism WELCOME!!! This is the first ever REAL piece I’m doing on this blog! I’m suuuuuper excited! I felt it would be so wrong of me to not start this blog off with THE event of the year. The Met Gala (duuuhhhh). For the first time, the Met Gala co-chairs were all Black men.
